Ensemble Aventure

Forum neuer Musik 2019 ,Postmigrantische Visionen‘

Deutschlandfunk Chamber Music Hall, Recordings from April 5, 2019

Farzia Fallah, Zeynep Gedizlioglu, Jamilia Jazylbekova, Eres Holz and Samir Odeh-Tamimi demonstrate the great internationality of Contemporary Music in our country at the 2019 forum.

They came from Iran, Turkey, Israel and Kazakhstan several years ago and are among the younger artists in particular who have settled in reunited Germany. They studied in Bremen, Cologne or Berlin and today contribute to the substance and diversity of the local Contemporary Music scene.

Ensemble Aventure from Freiburg has pioneered international cultural exchange and built long-term relationships with non-European scenes of New Music. For Wolfgang Rüdiger, the artistic director of Aventure, the Cologne concert combines the intention of a variety of colors in the cultures, in which the individual works correspond to each other in a symbolic way. The Forum was preceded by one of the last works by Hermann Keller, who as a composer, pianist and critical spirit was one of the representatives of the East German Avantgarde. His poem „Ihr sollt die Wahrheit erben“ was interpreted by Anita Lasker-Wallfisch’s book of the same name by the young French cellist Constance Ricard.
