„Ich hoffe, ich trete dir damit nicht zu nahe“ - this sentence heard the composer Eres Holz, born in 1977 near Tel Aviv, for the first time when he came to Berlin in 2003. The bitter slang with its directness, also called "Berliner Schnauze", did not irritate him - rather the detachment in the contemporary scene.
The reunited Berlin has been magically attracting young artists from all over the world since the 1990s. But how open is the city really? Entry into the grown music scenes of the capital, for example, demanded a lot from newcomers.
